M.E is a terrible condition. I used to inch to the bathroom on my belly. I used to exist in darkness and pain. I am now well on my way to completing the London Marathon.

So far, my personal best is 18 miles in one day. 18 miles!! That's an amazing achievement. If I don't manage anything more, I am happy with this. It's amazing. It's everything. It's victory over M.E. But... I'd like more. I'd like a ruddy medal for the marthon slog that is three and a half decades of M.E. I'd like to prove to myself that I can do it. I'd like to draw a line under my decades with M.E.
